Over the next five years, Greater Lycoming Habitat for Humanity [GLHFH] will build eleven homes by partnering with volunteers in our community. We are in the process of building two homes and updating another in the city of Williamsport on Saturdays through the winter months. Please consider how you can make a difference with this exciting opportunity.
To register, click on the calendar event on the date you wish to volunteer and fill out the registration form. Once completed, you are added to the list of volunteers for that day. You will receive a confirmation email.
Please keep in mind:
- Space is limited each week. Once the predetermined number of spaces is full on the calendar, the volunteer registration will close.
- Report at 8:30 AM for a brief orientation before work begins.
- Registration will close on the Wednesday evening before your desired volunteer day.
- If a church or business group requests a specific date, there will be an event created for that group on the calendar. Employees or church members should sign up under the calendar event named the same as the church or business group they associate with. Groups may request Thursdays or Saturdays.
- Individuals may sign up for Faith or Women Build activities.
- Signing up as early as possible enables us to properly prepare for the day.
- Please bring your own lunch and water bottle.
